(COMMERCIAL) What's happened to Tengu Models?

Anyone have any idea how long they've been down, etc?

I was wondering that same thing. See this I why I should always order stuff as soon as I want it no matter the size of the lead mountain. They've been down at least two weeks or more by my count.

"Hi Phil,
Yeah Tengu models is in an indefinate hiatus at the moment. It may be that the figures will resurface at some point. I am working on a new website ( using a new web package) but this will most probably have new figures rather than the old ones at least from the start. "

BIG fan of the current Tengu range, really hope they reappear.  Obviously a whole new range is wetting my empty wallet's appetite.

I placed an order on their website end of October, the site seemed to be working, taking payments and sending back payment reciepts, but no one seems to be manning the till. I've sent the owner a PM on this site to see what the status is. Really wanted some stuff from his store.

I thought I would modify this post, as Blackstone says below, the site is closed, looks like I was unfortunate enough to just get caught in an automated system. The owner is still going to honour my order however, which is nice. Crises averted, lead mountain can continue to rise!

Sorry to here about that. Really the site shouldn't be working anymore but it seems that Mr Site hasn't fully taken it down. I'll contact them since it really does need to be removed because I have no way of recieving order confirmations and processing orders anymore. I will of cause issue a full refund to Tomcat. I sent a PM regarding this.

Tengu Models has now gone from hiatus to being closed. However almost all of the miniatures from the range have now been sold on to other companies with a large section going to a UK company and they will be back in production soon.

I always had a great amount of support for Tengu Models and the miniatures were always well recieved. Sometime I'm very grateful for. It's great that they'll continue to be available. As mentioned in this thread I am working on a new range of miniatures. No modern zombies or lovecraftian horror this time though!
