That sounds like an awesome idea.   I Love Space 1889.  Golden age of gaming for me.  I will be watching this.  What figures are the gnomes?
This is my boomstick!

Gnomes, nains, it's all good.  ;)

They are identified, at least some, as Ollie's Armies. However, I THINK the command car is Atlantis, The Lost Continent. Does it still have the sound box, if so?

For Prussian 'stunties', I've STILL got a metric buttload of RAFM Death in the Dark Dwarfs. They had their battles planned for central Europe, but I'll entertain an expedition of support to Mars...   :D

My lads, I suspect, would be short, though. Poor diet in the rugged mountains.  lol

Yes dwarf from Ollies army and gnome from brigade games gnomes wars... few Westwind dwarf war and old citadel. Command car from atlantide disney (with sound :)
The plan is a remake "grosso-modo" of space 1889 with gnome and anthropomorphic figures with frogmen and snakemen from canal swamp bad guys
I think guard some martian from rafm who is littlest  than the gnome war gnome (they are more true 25mmscale) to make a short martian race like elfe fairy oriented (for lenght)
french force was french gnome war gnomes and  have some eureka camel and ant-eater french legion... and incrdibles (duney) walker and atlantis (disney) tank (already painted)
Painted is on the way i have undercoated today the trucks and A7V as some robot for my steampunk martian bot faction ... zombot ... warbot... mechabot...bombot... guardbot... more pics to come

Why does the blur in the front of the first picture make me think of Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow?  lol

On the other hand, I can hear the bots clanking in time, looking a bit like the mop(s) from The Sorcerer's Apprentice, ala Disney!
