I just read that Rod Taylor passed away on 7th January. Sad times indeed. RIP.

Don't!

Hopefully he managed to make it to the Time Machine.

Taking his battle with the Morlocks into the next life! And while we're here I'm still amazed his time traveler isn't immortalized in 28mm anyplace. Really should be  :?.
I am looking for the following Deadlands minis:  Shotgun Thug, Lost Soul, Cleaners, Railroad Workers & Feral Dead. If you have any of these minis, or if you are one, please send me a PM.

Of all his work, the Time Machine is probably the most fondly remembered and one which can be watched again and again. One of my all time favourite films for which no sequel (despite Hollywood superstars and modern CGI and effects) has ever been the equal!

My preference would be Dark of the Sun where he is a mercenary in the Congo.

There have been miniatures from some places, but due to IP you'll probably only find them on eBay, etc. I have two Morlocks I'm dragging into a Conan project.

I don't have a specific fellow in mind, but I'm sure I've seen plenty of appropriate in various Victorian and Old West lines. Tough part is getting one without a hat, I'd think.

Whether punching cows and bad guys, winning WWII yet again, or whatever, always loved that infectious grin.

Once again sadness at loss can't stand to gladness of having had.

Thanks, Rod!

The Time Machine was the first movie my brother and I went to see on our own.  I always can watch it and by the way, which two books would you take with you to the future to rebuild humanity?
