Macedonians
« on: March 29, 2015, 11:31:17 PM »
I revisited my plastic Macedonians recently and managed to complete the long unfinished fourth stand of eight.
They should be another 8 figs in the box but alas they went awol..

Impressive, particularly the flesh tones and basing.  8)

Just a question, which of the poses of the advancing Makedonians do think is best?

Well, to be honest I don't really have any favourites and with only four poses as it is one hasn't exactly got an awful lot of choice..
In other words I like them all ;-)

Seriously, they are all nice enough plus I cannot think of a cheaper way to get a good sized phalanx!

Erm..that is my army so far unfortunately.
The next stand will be the same colour scheme in any case but I've got another box unopened.
I might paint them red. Generally I do like more plain looking units.
The cavalry might get more colours tho!

Excellent brush skills. They do look awfully spread out for a classical phalanx though?
