Adepticon 2015 Early War Combat Patrol Recap

This year's Adepticon was the inaugural FOW Combat Patrol tournament on Sunday. Mostly this event was an excuse for me to expand my collection of 15mm terrain, but I ended up being pleasantly surprised with both the players and the support I received from Battlefront.

Lovely stuff! I am now wondering, what is 'Combat Patrol'?

Well done on getting people interested in EW. "Combat patrol" is 1000 points and only 1 compulsory combat platoon (when most companies need 2).

Lower points does get beginners playing (another option is to play tank only). While historically rare (tank on tank), it speeds up play and less rules to remember for beginners.
