Guilford Courthouse at Salute 2015
« on: April 26, 2015, 08:09:19 AM »

Steve Jones put on an excellent game at Salute yesterday and deservedly won the Best Painted award.

I was honoured to be a part of it.

Loads more pictures and a report of the action on Scrivsland

What a beautiful table gentlemen! After your Keren game of last year I expected no less, but is is stunning!

The only unfortunate thing is that I was unable to attend. Hopefully something to be amended next year....

Dear Boy,
What a brilliant game . Great looking board  and wonderful
Figs capturing late war AWI. Paintwork deserved best army award .
More attention to detail and peroild than many of the larger impact games .
It looked wonderful and I am sure with Mr Jones Black Powder AWI touch
played well , fun and realistically.
Bravo ..
One gentle critism , my partner works in fashion . The t shirts a little
unflattering as man boobs were on show. A heavier material would
be more kindly .

Keep it up
Cecil

I think I must have spend over 20 minutes looking at the table, taking photo's and enjoying the miniatures. The award was well earned!
It's a period that has been my favourite for quite a while, but I never seriously started on it until the Rebellion book came out. I've started to paint the miniatures needed for the Hanging Rock scenario which isn't even close to the amount you had up on the table.
Many thanks for the wonderfull table!!

Not only was it a brilliant looking game but the cakes and general catering facilities the game supplied were sublime!  :) My compliments to Mrs Scrivs for the lemon cup cakes!!   ;D :)

The game obviously have the Steve Jones Midas Touch and looked just so stunning that I thought it might win best demo if the theme hadn't been Agincourt this year.

It was great to see you Paul Steve, Dave , Tom, Nice Jon and a chap who's name I have [shamefully] forgot again! And I have to say, I was in much better spirits than on other recent occasions when I'd bumped into one or two of you chaps at shows.

Darrell.
