War & Conquest Second National Tournament
« on: 11 May 2015, 02:18:02 PM »
"Rome and her Enemies" was the theme for this tournament, I am sure there will be further reports and pictures on the Scarab Miniatures website over the next few days. But you can get an overview and a report on my blog here http://musingswargameslife.blogspot.co.uk/

Impressive array of well-painted miniatures. :-*
A pity, though, that the constraints of tournament gaming don't allow terrain matching the same standard. Nevertheless, thanks for sharing. I'm already following your blog with great interest.

Stunning array.   8)

Stuart.
Barrowclough; "Have you got any valuables here, Fletch?
Fletcher; "Only what I always keep in my pyjamas"
Blanco; "He could have been after your lemon barley water; "
Fletcher; "What - in my pyjamas? Funny shaped bottle"

Thanks, although none of the armies were mine as I only have Dark Ages at the moment. And yes, the terrain has to be portable, the venue is chosen so be as central as possible although I believe 75% of the players are from south of the Watford Gap, the next tourney will be at Foundry HQ in Newark and they have terrain on the premises.

I came away wanting to build several armies but neither my time nor pocket money will stretch.

I hear you. I think I have already hit my budget for the year. But those are great armies! I like the Romans a lot!
