Fantasy Cogs
« on: 23 May 2015, 07:05:02 PM »
Finally taken the plunge and started down this slippery slope.

After not doing anything gaming wise for close on 12 years finally got back into it with some roleplaying with friends and my wife decided to join in as well. As a result I painted this elven rogue for her about 4 years ago which for me was a departure from the norm as I had exclusively painted 15mm back in the day as 25/28mm scared me!

I will post some more of the random things I have been painting since then in roughly chronological order as we go along and as I get grips with cameras and attaching photos.

Cheers

...and attaching photos...

Which has clearly failed... :-[

Right back to figure this out.

Hello and welcome!

The web address you entered is to the page the image is on - not the image itself.

When you get to the page, press the right mouse button over the image and select Copy Image URL from the menu.

You can paste that between a pair of img tags.

Here's one from out esteemed leader's gallery - reply to this message and you'll see the address is very different from the one you entered

It's a Reaper mini - Callie is the figure. Her face was a bit distorted so I covered it up with a scarf/mask...which did not sit well with my wife.

The cogs in the title refer to the cogs (miniatures) that I use in my over ambitious, one might say Catastrophic  ::), gaming plans (to paraphrase Nick Cave), I apologise if people came looking for boats...didn't cross my mind until now. Anyway too many miniatures, too many ideas and not enough time is the point I guess I am trying to make.

Here is a test skeleton I painted shortly after the Elf, now that I am getting the hang of this posting malarkey.

Cheers

It took me years to figure out the photography posting thingy...glad it worked a bit quicker for you. The Elf & Skeleton Warrior painted up BEAUTIFULLY...a triumphal return. GREAT WORK!
