That's a very nice looking table, Psullie, and the game sounds like a lot of fun. What did you think of the 7TV rules? They seem a little counter-heavy to me but sound fun. I'd also be curious as to how many figures per side the rules can handle (as a maximum). Thank you for any help and for sharing the photos!
Hi Arundel
First full disclosure - as I've written one of the 7th Voyage (7TV's fantasy based cousin) supplements I'd be a little biased towards the rules

they are a great and very flexible set of rules - although the focus is on James Bond, the Avengers & Dr Who type games it's easily adaptable to a wide range of genres. As the focus is to play out a TV episode the game is centred around your Stars and Co-stars who are supported by Extras. as for numbers the action mechanism of the rules limits what you can do each turn, basically the camera can only be one place at a time. I've played with 20+ minis on a side and had lots of fun - just don't expect to use them all every turn. 8-12 per side played on a 4x4 table is the optimal game size but it also handles mismatched side too - that 20+ game was played against just 4 heroes and it was a very close game.
It does use counters to track wounds and other conditions, and each turn you use tokens to nominate which figures you plan on using - I personally prefer this to book-keeping and the numbers in use are not too many.
btw this last game was done with the soon to be released 7TV2 which plays much faster and with fewer tokens
