Raiders of the Tomb of the Serpent God
« on: 12 July 2015, 07:18:02 AM »

Yesterday afternoon, Lewis and I played Pulp Alley. We had put together a new Tomb Raiding scenario with a couple of scenario specefic rules to try out the soon to be released 'Tomb of the Serpent God' Terra Block set.

The game was slotted into our on going 'Perilous Island' campaign as a flashback to the first time that Professor Snow and Manfred had met, all those years ago in the arid sands of Egypt.

On this occasion the cunning traps and devices of the ancients kept the arcane treasures protected, however as always Pulp Alley provided an excellent afternoons entertainment.

 :-* :o 8) ; :D

Love the table and especially the Temple! :-*

Nice and compact and modular with beautiful scenic touches. Are the coloured Heiroglyphics printed or painted?

Great effect either way!!!

By the way nice figures! 8) I do own most of those myself!

All of the wall & floor coverings are part of the 'Terra-Block' set.
Like the very popular Fothrington Hall set, the 'Temple of the Serpent God' consists of 3mm Medite (MDF) parts and a free download that contains all of the wall and floor textures. For this set the textures include block stone, sandstone, plaster, floor tiles, & tomb art.

The set has just been added to our site as a Pre Order at £31.50, saving £3.50.

Glad you like it.

The great thing is that because you are not doing any painting, just gluing the MDF components together and then gluing the cover sheets to the terra block pieces, it does not take that long to complete. I put the whole tomb together in an afternoon, (about 3.5 hours).

This is a picture of the Tomb set up as an above ground tomb. Their is an extra corridor section included in the set so that you do not need to use the stairs going down and can have the tomb sitting on your terrain at ground level.... however for those of you who might be interested in an underground tomb I have just put the mega terra blocks on pre-order £6.75 instead of £7.50). These are 300mm x 300mm x 50mm. They can be clipped together with foldback clips to stop terrain from drifting apart. They are designed for setting up multi-level gaming areas using terra blocks such as tombs, dungeons, bunkers, harbours, submarine pens etc.

Fantastic! That's really a basement level. The market abobe reflects the mood that the main adventure will happen underground. Highly inspiring!

Just to let you know that I have just completed and made available the cover sheets for the 'Tomb of the Serpent God' set.

These will work with any standard terra-Block pieces, (as well as with the Tomb Set!)

If you would like to download them for free, they are available from:
