If you plan to extend the garage several years ago I came across a display base on the interweb that could fit  five 1/50 batmobiles. It was set up like a piece of the bat cave. It had a rock face at the rear and a little inspection lift to put a batmobile on and a few computer consoles on the end. I always thought it would work well for a piece of scenery if incorporated into a bigger piece. Don't know who made it as I found it by chance at stupid o'clock cause my ex used to snore like a banshee so I'd lay in bed and surf the web for random things. I know it's not made by Hot wheels to go with the batmobile range. It did look awesome but I've never been able to find it on the interweb since.
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass....and I'm all out of bubblegum. No wait I've just found another pack in my back pocket. Mmm tropical fruit bubblicious.

I have begun looking for one now as well, but shipping costs are a killer!!

I absolutely love what you have done...what a great terrain piece. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks to all of you for the positive comments about the Batcave... really appreciated.

uti long simile, I am still a big fan of your Atomic Cafe work... wonderful stuff!

Hitman, good luck with your hunt.

Troll, thank god our children outgrow their toys and we don't!

Marine0846, as soon as I complete my work on my 15/18mm FIW collection which should be posted in October, I will be moving to my 28mm gangster collection and city; the Batcave will be included with that collection.

Great idea i know now what to keep a eye out for at local carboot sales. this would work great for BMG, with a little work as you have shown.

Looks good. My son has the other version fisher price did suffice to say i keep sticking one of his t-rexs in there for him. He also wants me to customise his spare Robin as Nightwing which I'll do at some stage. BTW he's 5. I have trained him well.

My own gaming 'cave' is in progress. Loads of Ideas and 9 batmobiles to use. Looking for a large liberty penny (the two face coin isn't a good stand in for me (yup I'm that batty;)) and loads of other bits and bobs before i kickoff. I have 8 foot of cork bark ready though. Lol

Great repurposing of the toy though. Nice.

Viper, check out chocolate coin containers from airports and mints. I have a large Korean one that would just about work, size-wise.

What filler material did you use to fill the gap in the toys?

I always appreciate the kind words.  Thank you.

mindfad, I use yellow-grew Milliput... it comes in the red and white box; as far as I know it is the cheapest of the different Milliput variants available and it sets hard as a rock after a few hours... great stuff.  Richard
