hello
« on: October 10, 2015, 03:26:54 PM »
Hello all,
I'm Nick, a fellow miniature painting enthusiast. I was introduced to this forum by a chance meeting with the Tin Shed Gamer. I would like to apologise in advanced if I have posted in the wrong section or anything like that, as I am completely new to using forums. It is a pleasure to become part of the community.
I have been painting miniatures for 30 years, and thoroughly enjoy the experience however, in recent years my progress has decreased as I cannot dedicate as much time as I would like, due to work and family commitments.
I am hoping to become an active member of this community and, if anyone is willing to help, to learn some new techniques and tricks to increase the quality of my painting. I also currently don't know any other people who share a passion for painting miniatures so having people to discuss this with presents me with a unique opportunity.
If anyone has any advice for me in regards to making the most of this forum it would be much appreciated. I look forward to participating in the community.
Kind regards,
Nick

P.S. I have included some photos of a few of my painted figures so you have an idea of my ability level.

Welcome! Lovely painting. You were able to attach photos, so you're not completely lost.

This place is very friendly - spend your time looking around, and getting lost in all this hobby has to offer.
