The Monster
« on: 07 August 2015, 02:31:38 PM »
From the depths of Lead Mountain, The Monster! Its a GW (Citadel?) Blood Bowl fig purchased in the early 90s. I finally got around to painting it this week. It's one of my favorite Frankenstein sculpts, the face in particular.

Good old Boris Karloff. Where would we be without his version of the creature?

Nice Figure!

On my hols at the mo and reading a great book that looks into some of the lunatics who experimented with electricity in the eighteenth and nineteenth century. Mary Shelley had no shortage of material to inspire her! The things they did to animals, humans and themselves............  :o

Thank you for the kind words gentlemen. The washes I used really did the trick on this fig. The whole of it was painted w/ craft store acrylics and I'm quite pleased by the result.
