Parkaboy's Frostgrave Project
« on: December 12, 2015, 06:06:49 PM »
My friend and I have really gotten into the game. We're using Gale Force 9 terrain for the most part, right now. The board is made of tiles from Dust Tactics. Here are some miniatures I painted for him.

The Barbarian.

These pics are not coming out well. The minis look better in person. Anyone having the same issue?

Thanks, but they are not showing well on film. Any suggestions?

The scenery is causing the camera to focus on the details of the scenery rather than the miniature. Take the pics of the minis on a plain background, so the camera focuses on the mini itself.

They still look way to magnified when I do that. To the naked eye, right in front of you, the minis look much better paint-job-wise. I take a pic, and all the blending and such is revealed.

That usually indicates you're too close. Better to take a picture from further away and then crop it to show just the mini itself.

I'll try, thanks.
