Chronomancer
« on: 08 January 2016, 03:30:34 PM »
Hi all.

Going to be starting my first band shortly and I'm going for a Chronomancer.
I'm going to attempt to theme it as Dr Who, using Heresy minis of the Doctor and Rose Tyler.
Any ideas if what I could use for the rest of the group? Was going to get K9 as a warhound but the others?
Pluck people out of history like a Viking and a samurai, perhaps?

Help!!! :)

Go for it - I use a very old GW Imperial Army figure as a Marksman (with a magic crossbow).
I also use a old Heresy Beastwoman figure as a Barbarian - I say she has been plucked out of a far future where mankind has mutated.

And my apprentice is an old GW Chaos Sorceror that has some mechanical parts.

I would get one of the many and varied Not-TARDIS models to use as a Pack Mule.

There's Black Tree's ex-Harlequin Dr Who models if you want something more vintage.

Get some U.N.I.T. soldiers.   I too have the Doctor ready for Frostgrave as a Chrono.

What about some "tamed" Sharclons from heresy as some minions.

Good call.

So, the Doctor, Rose/Amy Pond, K9, Leela as a thief?

Then I'm stuck. Really want to do this but its difficult trying to fit the other classes in.

What are you other Doctor/Chronomancers doing?

In theory, The Doctor could pull soldiers from ...well, anywhere, so you can use anything that is equipped properly for the soldier in question. Greeks, Persians, Renaissance, whatever tickles your fancy. Near future, far future, alien, anything really.
