Von T rides again finally the AAR posted 16/1/16

After a 6 - 12 months hiatus/sabbatical Von Trinkenessen and Taylor's Crew will be back in Autumn/Fall 2016.

Finally sorted the camera.
Over the Xmas holiday had a game with my two sons based on our "Beyond the Tannhausser Gate" campaign.

The Star League are up to something as spotted by a Drone from the human Federated Colonies battlegroup.

A'Fed' patrol is reinforced by a platoon of Pan African askaris.

The humans manage to infiltrate into the pipe farm and shanties before being spotted. The feds PPG that had been dragged all the way opened up and took out the venturian marine mg team on the roof of the main building.

A fierce firefight develops resulting several Venturian marines in the shanties being hit .

Unfortunately just as things were going well for the humans a Venturian armuored patrol turns up.
The lead tank takes a mobility kill from the fed GMS/L team.

Whilst this firefight is going on, the Venturan AFVs try to out flank the fed troops only to run into the PAU ambush .
With the high tech counter measures being unable to spoof a  basic RPG the africans inflict a lot of damage causing the attack to stall.
As darkness falls the human forces melt away into the night having confirmed the arrival in theater of Star League
heavy armour.
