Just causing trouble again, who said we are professionals? Maybe we are just a bunch of gamers who've managed to 'wing it' for 15 years. (Osprey are going to kill me for this, 'cus they are professionals).

Works for mantic and games workshop!
(except we like you better.)  lol

Ahh the internet. A place where it's perfectly acceptable to be as rude as you like and then get all uppity if you get a rude response. Sorry I missed it.

As for the Gnoll 3up, it looks great! I haven't bought the warriors or cultists because for me Forstgrave was a way of utilising the multitude of unused models in my lead pile...but as I have nothing suitable for Gnolls I can see myself getting these.

Ah, so many memories of basic D&D.

Can we have Kobolds next please?

Oh, by the way, real Gnolls are much bigger than that and have a phobia of leather armour..... or something.

The weird thing is, I had some ... well I thought they were dog-beastmen at the time, but looking back they probably were Gnolls ... about twenty years back, and I thought I was being really innovative and clever by painting them as hyenas. I like hyenas.

But there were only three of them, which wasn't much of a pack.

I think I'd quite enjoy putting some nice hyena stylie colours on them.

I like them. I've been looking for ages for not ogre-sized hyena gnolls. I've been collecting this fantasy Libyan warband for some years and these seem the ones that are missing.  No over the top detailing, realistic proportions and man-sized.
Reminds me I need to source those Crocodile Games hyena-ghouls.

Looking at that rendering again, I'm still disappointed in the hands (too human) but I think perhaps they would have been better off posting an example picture of a bare headed Gnoll.  The mask or hood that one is wearing obscures the face making it hard to give the whole figure a fair judgment.

Ok, hands up. I knew I was poking a stick in a Hornet's nest. I've been around the block long enough to know what reaction I'd get, amused to see I even got the 'that man is so rude I'll never buy from him again' comment.
Oh please. You were acting like a child and now you are backpedaling because you got called out on it. Rudeness I can handle, children throwing tantrums I cannot.

It's early days, we've only put the box cover and one picture up so far, the Gnolls have 7 months to prove themselves, hopefully you'll like the other kit combinations more.
If you have more, show more.

Bear in mind the Gnoll picture is of a 95mm high figure, and you're looking at it blown up on screen. So the mouth area that received much comment will in reality be 2mm across.  lol 2mm!

Also 3 up sculpts, going to the same company as yours to be manufactured.

If you (and everyone else reading) can't see the difference in quality, there's no more point in this discussion.

Just causing trouble again, who said we are professionals? Maybe we are just a bunch of gamers who've managed to 'wing it' for 15 years. (Osprey are going to kill me for this, 'cus they are professionals).
You, who run a company, for money, are by definition a professional. And the only reason you've been able to wing it for so long is the larger wargame market's willingness to accept lower quality product.

Well then, it seems like this discussion is on the verge of cooking off, which is not going to do anybody any favours. Hence, I shall lock it for the night to allow everybody a cool-down period and a breather.
