Anyway, then I used some clear resin for my fist casts - which was okay but not that good. I thougth it might be a clever idea for windows, but this resin was too thick. This might have been because I had this resin around for ages, but I don't think so. This ist not a good pic but might give an impression:
For the next casts I used some special fluid resin for casting thin details - and it work really good. You could even see the wood-structre (but not on the pic...).
At the moment I use all of the casts for doing some prototypes of miners houses. I will show my progress in an other treat. I think I will do some new masterpieces for windows useing Elladans windows as a guideline, so I will use plastic sticks - not balsawood.
