Sculpting class with Kev White
« on: 01 May 2016, 07:01:38 PM »
Hi all!

On the 14th and 15th May, Kev White of Hasslefree miniatures is coming to Common Ground Games in Stirling for a two day sculpting class. There is no entry level skill required so beginners are welcome. If that sounds like something you'd be interested in please contact me for details or take a look at our Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/1709435029297977/

I am seriously tempted by this, but transport on the Sunday may be an issue. What are the start and end times of the classes?

Starts at 10am and finishes at 6pm. What direction would you be coming from? Most of us are coming from Glasgow via train. There's always the option of staying over at the youth hostel, if that's a possibility.

I'm Falkirk way, and the earliest train on a Sunday doesn't get to Stirling until about 10:20 :-[ I'll check the buses, as there's usually a pretty good service.

Sadly, my youth left me a long time ago, and I'd probably get mistaken for the caretaker if I turned up at a hostel :'(

The first train from Glasgow on a Sunday doesn't get to Stirling until just after 10, so you may be a bit late as well...

Indeed. I'll probably be driving on the Sunday, but even so, 10-20 minutes late is fine. You'll still be getting over 15 hours of hands on tuition from one of the best. This is a really rare opportunity to catch Kev this side of the border.
