Hope to have a big spend up when I get home if I have any money left. ;D

But you will eventually have the set in your shop, too, right? I mean, when you have sets without the faulty cast?

Definitely in about 4 weeks. Hope to have the bunch with the proper casting ready for CRISIS where I will be at the beginning of November.

Hope to see some of you there -
with a lot of money to spend on the right miniatures ;)

Good to hear. You have a lot of stuff I've been meaning to get for some time - I may have to start going for smaller orders than I've been used to the last couple of years if I do not get another job before the end of January.... It's like a drug, you have to slowly detox...  :?
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

Now I need links to reference material for "China Town" 1900-1929.  Colour prints if they exist.  And any information on how different Tong gang members visually identified themselves.  (If none, I'll have to make it all up  ;) )

Josef recommended this book to me when I mentioned the same thing in my order.

Thanks.

(Though I'm reading a "Fu-Manchu" novel at the moment so might just let my imagination do its work...)

For some general info on Tongs it is worth getting the Herb Asbury book, gangs of Newyork as it covers not only the periods form the film but also Irish and Tong Gangs etc

Quite useful  ;)

Figures arrived today and they are just brilliant! Thyey've gone straight to the front of the painting queue. I hope that there might be others planned? Perhaps an Arnold Genthe himself (theres a good image of him stood with his camera)?
