VSF "Engineers" (AKA Ironclad VBCW Firemen)
« on: 15 February 2016, 10:09:36 AM »
Hi All,

I required a unit of Engineers for my 1870's VSF games so used the Ironclad VBCW Fireman as my proxies just because I liked them  :D ...these figures are excellent as have been all the Ironclad miniatures I've bought. Once the paints have cured for week I'll give them a brown wash.

In my games they'll have the ability to expertly use of explosives etc and are armed with the latest Light Rapid Fire Carbine (read SMG) and magazine fed Galvanic Rifles...

Cheers!

Hi Alll,

Funny you should mention a vehicle for the Engineers, just the other week a friends abandoned 1/35 WW II German gun kit funished me with four cool wheels that I think would suit a steam tractor and I have two of Victoria Miniatures VSF range of wheels left over that would be suitable for a trailer  :D ...

If you think I've a better reason, don't be holding your breath.   :-*

Not I! Given the source, I knew patience would be rewarded, and it obviously will be.  ;)

Those wheels have so many possibilities...!  Nice score!

How about a Cab-forward traction engine (basically back to front traction engine)?  Would look suitably non-standard with the driven wheels at the front.
