Dipping my toe into the game and I want to do an illusionist warband.
I'm looking for some good ideas for the wizard and apprentice if anyone can help?

I think it depends upon the sort of look you are after. There are SO many manufacturers out there to choose from.
What sort of figure did you have in mind? Traditional Tolkien type, Middle Eastern Mystic, Druidic etc?

Ral Partha are good. Otherworld Miniatures do some nice ones too.
