Indeed a very lovely Lovecraft collection. They really look like the stuff out of nightmares. I really should start painting more of my RAFM models.

The big guys are Reaper Bones Bugbears. While they look nice as is, they really excel as conversion material with GW Ogre bits. This works pretty well as the softness of the Bones material is mainly visible on the heads and hands and those are the easiest to replace, especially with the one you can see in the left back corner, as his head is glued to the body and can be removed by using little force (and some wriggling). This also explains why my standard bearer has five fingers on each hand, while the rest only have four on each hand ;)
Why aim for gold if you can get lead?
