Grand Tactical Games in 28mm - Town representation!
« on: May 31, 2016, 07:07:24 PM »
For some time I have been working on Grand Tactical games in 28mm set in the post Waterloo period in Europe.  Utilising the Bloody Big Battles rule system, I have found the traditional approach of one dwelling on a town template somewhat unsatisfactory from an aesthetic point of view. One evening I was doodling on a pad of paper and an idea formed where one building would look like several....NO I had not gone mad, so I  found a creative talent, who was able to take my idea and to turn it into reality,  a prototype was made and the word went out , this was met with a favourable response, tweeks were made, the ability to scale down to 15mm and 10mm was addressed. What you
see below is the product of our combined endeavours.

Bonsoir,

I like this idea!

You don't usually see all faces of a building at once anyway, and, some real buildings have different styles on each of their facades.

I love 28mm buildings and variety is very appealing so I look forward to being able to purchase one or two.

Cheers,

Paul

Yes, very good and what looks to be a relatively small footprint too.

The footprint is approx 73mm by 73mm, keep in mind when playing Grand Tactical games the landscape is completely abstracted, but then is it not in most wargames lol.
