I remember a time of chaos, ruined dreams, this wasted land. But most of all, I remember the road warrior, the man we called Max

Beautiful! What color did you use to highlight the black?

Brilliant Paul. I Love the small details you made to the base like the tin can.

Thanks for the comments.  :)

Beautiful! What color did you use to highlight the black?
The black was based on Foundry Black (34A) then adding Slate Grey (32A) in a couple of layers and a few highlights with pure Slate Grey (34A).  I have been experimenting a bit with predominantly black miniatures lately for a couple of future projects.  I'm finding it difficult to get consistent a finish, but found that ambient lighting conditions can make quite a difference painting lots of black.

the dog food can is a priceless detail!

Now what about the dog and the car?
I wanted to do something more than a plain base for him.  The small piece of twig seemed right, but the empty can of Dinki-Di came to me in a flash of inspiration.  I made it by drilling out a piece of plastic rod and adding a small disk of plastic card for the open lid.  I tried printing out a label, but the resolution at such a small size was awful, so I hand-painted it.

No immediate plans for the car or dog yet, but would like to at some point.

Excellent! That a very nice paintjob on a brilliant model.

Now if the mini only was 15mm or 20mm so I could use him in great postapoc car battles!
