Bonjour Chaps,

Just been looking at the Calpe range and came across these.

Fabulous!

Just must get some.

Cheers,

Paul

Looks more like a tête de colonne to me though...

A tête de colon would result in a very different model :

 ;) :D ;)

A great idea and some nice looking figs. However, if you are going to make this one-off set then why not make the figs in it more individualist instead of just copies...at least some different head variations....just a suggestion to make a nice set great.

Does Calpe ever do shows in the UK?

Bonjour Chaps,

Thanks to Arthur and others for pointing out my faux pas!

Not the last one I'll be responsible for this year but one that I won't forget.

Captain Canada asked about Calpe UK shows and I'm not aware of any which is a real shame.

Cheers,

Paul

In your defense, Paul, the Calpe website was the first to turn the aforesaid tête de colonne into the upper extremity of a section of the gastrointestinal tract.

Re Calpe, my understanding is that it's not so much a full-time business as it is Peter Fitzgerald's passion project. I believe it is something he does on the side and what available time he has is directed toward research, sculpting and casting rather than advertising and attending shows, which explains why the company keeps such a low profile.

That was what I figured. I understand - its the shipping to US that kills.

Thanks guys
