Nice. What scale and manufacturer are these?

And how did you do the flack (and in what order)?

They're Flames of War 15mm Soviet Infantry, that's my excuse for the crap piccy! I've learned that the particular cammo uniform was nicknamed 'sunbunny' by Russian Infantrymen.

Cool - they look good.

I meant flock, not flack btw - only constructive criticism I offer is to maybe do the static grass before you do the other basing, etc (I can see that the static grass is stuck on the other foliage). Which I want to source some from - where's that other foliage from (manufacturer, etc)?

I'd like to claim that all the grass blowing about is caused by the rotor wash of the bellyflopter that inserted the FOOs.  :P
Truth is, I got a bit carried away with the foliage, it's the first time I've tried that type of static grass and them shrub thingys. I basetexed and dry brushed the base, stuck on the shrubbery then got a tad over enthusiastic with the grass... looks more like Vietnamese jungle than northern Europe!

The static grass came from here...

The shrubbery here...

Hope that helps.

It does, thanks. The helicopter explanation works for me (too).

Yes it is the Zvezda kit. I'm quite taken with their kits, I have a trio of Zvezda T72s to have a go at next.

Yeah - I got some Abrams and they needed a little pimping (Battlefront crew & stowage and some bandage as camo netting). Their T-72 gets better reviews than Battlefront's T-72, which surprised me. Keep up the painting.
