1:56 Fury Easy Eight Conversion
« on: 01 November 2016, 04:42:17 PM »
My own little project for the past few weeks.  I decided to go through our part files and print out the pieces to make the tank from the movie "Fury".

The twist is that I decided to make the actual tank used in the movie, which is an M4A2E8..the movie is portraying an M4A3E8. Small difference, but it means I can use the spare M4A2 hull I have.

The build is a combination of printed files, scratch building, custom drawn decals, etc, etc.  Right now I'm at the port I need to craft the stowage for the rear deck and the "log" armor.

Blog on the build:

More pictures.  Added some more stowage.  Just a few more tarps to sculpt as well do a quick scan of the yard for small sticks/logs for the armored sides.
