Clever re-use of some kits.  It's interesting that Beasts of War said Fire Forge had an interest in supporting 9th Age (the fan-embraced continuation of Warhammer Fantasy, sans Age-of-Sigmar-etc.).  Be interesting if that's true.

I've been curious about what 9th age was
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

Don't hold me to it, as I don't play it (nor have I played Warhammer Fantasy) but that is the gist I get from various blogs/forum posts etc.  Perhaps someone here can flesh out a better description.

It mentions 9th Age right on Fireforge's web site. It seems a logical move, to step in with their existing historicals and brand them for use in fantasy gaming. Especially since that was already happening. But now that there is a Bretonnian void and some of the GW loyalists are finally looking around at other manufacturers...
