Bloodbowl Teams, New and Old

Sometime in the next few weeks, I will get a chance to play some Bloodbowl again after 20+ years.  I picked up some of the new teams and painted up this human team last Fall.

I finished up the black ork team this week.  I also tried out a light box I got for Christmas.

Beautifully painted teams! I love the yellow Black Orcs. I've found Black Orcs a tough team to coach, but I'd be honored to field them if they were suited up like that.

I found a great 3D print of a troll for the black ork team.


I also painted up a skaven team, the Warpstone Raiders.




The colors are a bit off, I am still working on using a small lightbox and my camera correctly.

Very, very nice. I like that yellow you use on the Halflings; that works great. I also got a new lightbox early this year, and I'm not quite happy with the pictures I get out of it. Maybe it's too large for single figures or small groups. I had to add a light in front as well to get decent-ish pictures. What's your experiences with yours?

Sigur, I also was using a light in front of the light box.  I was using a handheld LED light, but I picked up a cheap circular light that I used on the pictures below.  The light box I have is a 12 inch cube, so not sure if it the right size or not.  I did try using my camera about 1 to 2 feet away from the light box and zooming in on the models.  I also lowered the brightness of the overhead light a bit as it seemed to be overpowering the light from the front.

Nice collection of teams so far and good work on the painting. I’ve been considering starting with blood bowl again as we have an active community for it here but I need to get a new team as my old ones are hard to use with today’s rules.
