Sharp Practice 2 AWI I question

I am a complete novice when it comes to AWI but I thought I might give it a go in 15mm scale. I already have SP2 and was looking through the lists and thought I found a few oddities. Can anyone clear up if these are typos, historical facts or just down to my mistaken interpretation of the rules.

1) in the AWI British list the loyalist skirmishes have muskets while the light dragons have rifles. Is this right?

2) the British loyalist cavalry have muskets. Is this true?

3) in the minute men list one group of militia skirmishers has rifles and one has muskets, but in the main list there is no option to give the militia skirmishers rifles. Which is correct and what is the cost of upgrading to rifle?

Any help or advice would be welcome.
