Malcolm, where does the terror bird come from? I must get one for my Cave Wars collection! Lovely work on the shields too. And the white shirt stands out very nicely too  :)

Nice work on the Germans too. I think you've got the uniform colour just right  8)

...where does the terror bird come from?

From a fellow-LAFer.   ::)  That is, it's an OOP figure.  Probably old Citadel, but I'm not sure.  I seem to recall it was the last one he had.

Yeah, an old Citadel figure. I used to have one many moons ago - C29 Culchan/Lustrian Giant Carnivorous Bird.

Love the humor of the setting..."Avast, ye beastie! Back! Back!"  lol

And nice work on the Germans' rifles! Those look great...

Beautiful warm skin-tones on the "prehistoric" women, Orctrader, and the savage bird is excellent - look at the eye!

More input from my 6-year old:

:) :)They both look great!  Especially like the zebra shield!  And the scientist looks pretty silly defending himself with an umbrella!!

Those Germans look great, like the wall behind them too :) :).

What rare insight from one so young.  Please pass on my thanks.   :)

@Khartoum2 I like the Germans.  As the Captain said, the uniform colour is good.   :)

Orc absolutely superb in every way - right down to the stone base.  So many comments totally agree with but must say I love the black shading on the professor - so subtle and realistic

Thanks for the nice comments on the Germans these are my annual entry as I've so far done one each year I've entered.
