Hi Mark,

Just wanted to say thank you for putting on this wonderful games. I managed to jump in on the second game of the day; lots of fun and the aesthetic was spot on. I am a fan of the smaller scales any way but don't think I have ever seen 2mm done this well before. Lots of inspiration there for me.

p.s. I was a little disappointed in "Derrick" though I was expecting him to take out half the Royalist army in one foul swoop as they crossed the bridge.  ;)

Cheers,
Tom

Thanks Tom!
I'm pleased you enjoyed it!

Derrick! Haha! What a stupid non-17th century name! At least he spiked the guns and made the earthwork inoperable!💥🙈😮

I saw from afar as it was really busy and everyone was enjoying themselves I didn't want to interrupt. Looked good though  :)

Thanks Jim,
It was certainly busy. I think we nearly always had someone speaking to the public. In hindsight we put our information boards a bit too low as well. It was funny the number of people walking past it spotting locations they knew, which in 1642 were largely fields rather than houses. 'I worked there', 'got drunk there', 'was born there', 'got married there', was a great way of hooking people into the game!
