Larry Niven Inspired ships - Kzin Armada
« on: 22 January 2018, 05:12:36 PM »
I just finished the fifth Ringworld book...so that also made me sit down for a few days and work up some ship designs from the books!

First off are some Kzin ships.  These would predate the discovery of Ringworld and be from the 1rst through 3rd Man Kzin wars.  Lots of spheres ;)

These are up in my shapeways shop if there is any interest.  I'm no longer into casting these sort of things for the moment.  The ships are about 1.5cm to 2.5 cm in diameter.

That's kind of ominous.  Your other space fighter range is still due for expansion, right?

Im sticking to using shapeways now.  The costs for molding, holding stock, and pre-purchasing shipping supplies far exceeds any current sales potential.  If enough people buy from shapeways with their markup, then I can figure if a model has some demand for it.

So expansion of the line is happening, but only if there is actual demand for a specific design.
