Run from the Dead--Halloween gaming mayhem
« on: 01 November 2017, 07:17:07 PM »
Literally months in the making, I finally pulled together my first zombie miniatures game in time for the Halloween holiday, creating a mini-campaign playtest of the upcoming RUN FROM THE DEAD rule set by Ganesha Games (Song of Blades and Heroes, et al.). Lots of photos of the game and the crafting that went into it, some discussion of this new game's mechanics, and even links to download the sound effects and moody loops I gathered to play during our game.

Below are some photos from the my blog, SCRUM IN MINIATURE: https://miniaturescrum.blogspot.com/2017/10/run-from-dead.html

Looks like a great game and I am overly impressed with your cars! Did you do the wrecking on them or did they come that way?

Thanks for sharing,

Terry

Thanks, Terry. I did the wrecking on the cars myself. Fast, easy, and quite a bit of fun. Besides the red blood paint, most of the wrecking involved either a lighter, some needle-nose pliers, or the little jeweler's hand drill (drilling the bullet holes, scratching things up, breaking windshields, etc.). My wife actually walked over in the middle of trying to burn the front end of a car I held in some pliers and asked what I was up to. I got distracted while explaining until she interrupted me and said, "Uhm, your little car is on fire," which started me blowing on it to put the fire out! There are more pics on the blog...
