To the Strongest Sub Roman British 28mm
« on: 18 December 2017, 09:28:44 PM »
A few photo's of some re based and tarted up Sub Roman British I did for 'To the Strongest' rules, figures are Gripping Beast and Old Glory re done onto Impetus size bases for ease of movement.

I have to say that I have seen this type of figure painted to a much higher standard on this site but these lads will do for me.
A few more pictures here if you wish:

Your standard of painting is nothing to be sneezed at.  Very nice.

I think they are rather good.  Clean and tidy painting actually goes a long way.   :)

Lovely looking units.
Great brushwork.

A period that I really like so I shall follow this avidly, looking for inspiration for a later date.

Really, really nice work there. I find your painting very, very good. Clean and crisp: and I bet they look really good (and not muddled like my own) on the tabletop.
You go to war with the figures you have, not the figures you wish you had!
