Clown Gang?
« on: 01 November 2017, 11:41:29 AM »
Puppets war released their new clown heads recently

http://ttfix.blogspot.com.au/2017/11/puppetswar-new-mad-clown-heads.html

and I've long wanted a clown-themed raider gang inspired by Knight Models Joker gang and the clownish types from EDEN (which all feel out of my budget as the second baby is due to arrive at the month's end).
Now that PW has released the heads, have you guys got any suggestions on what I could use as bodies? It'd need to be something ragtag and wastelandish, armed with firearms. I was thinking Northstar plastic cultist bodies or something but they still feel to fantasy. I'm thinking more along the lines of prison jumpsuits/boiler suits. I'm hoping for something ready made so I can whack some heads on the bodies and slap the paint on it, I spend so much time kittbashing these days I hardly get to paint.

Thanks in advance.

I can not remember if it's copelstone or foundry who have them but one of the group's has some broiler suites clowns in their future war range.
Specter mins also had some in their criminal element range.

Just scroll down and you will see them.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Crooked Dice does some James Bond-esque minions which I believe come with separate heads as standard.

I think the TAG clown mask crims are in suits.

They are lovely though.

Crossover miniatures have a clown heads option on their thugs.

They used to sell separate heads as sets, but they are not currently on their website.

I second the Crossover Miniatures clown gang.  They are very nice.  Similar to the Joker's gang from the opening of The Dark Knight.

If you want more traditional clown outfits there are these guys available at Black Cat Bases.

Reaper also has a couple withe seperate heads and weapons.  Again, more traditional style.
