Small Jungle table and bases...
« on: 18 April 2009, 12:39:40 AM »
Here's a little something I'm still working on, hope you like it!

And here's the bases...

It has lots of uses :) Initially I wanted to use it for modern conflicts, but it's pretty flexible. I'm also trying to keep it as modular as possible.

Things still to finish on it are: some more tree bases, resin water, possibly a hill somewhere too.

The board itself is quite small (~60cm x 40cm) so anything you play on it will be short and bloody :D

As always, any feedback so far is welcome! I would really appreciate any suggestions on making it look more jungle-y too... it doesn't look as claustrophobic as jungles I've actually been in!

Those are absolutely fantastic!! I really need the weather to warm up so I can start doing my bases. I have so many things that I want to do (hobby-wise) and so many things that I don't want to do (work) that are getting in the way of my hobby time!!

Great inspiration!! Thanks a lot for sharing!!
Victory is guaranteed to the last man standing, but always remember those whom you stepped on to get there!!

Wow! Thanks Hitman! That's a lovely thing to say... makes me want to keep making more of them :D Hope the weather warms up soon. Of course, the exact opposite is happening here!

Looking good, Christian.  :)

Those splashes of colour are really nice, something I think a lot of people wouldn't include. I know it wouldn't have occurred to me.
