WWI Middle East rules
« on: 09 January 2018, 08:36:50 PM »
I know that a set of rules dealing specifically with World War One in the Middle East came out not all that long ago.
But I can't remember the title! Can anyone help?

Are you thinking of 'If the Lord Spares Us' from Too Fat Lardies?

Has an updated version of the 2005 ITLSU publication been released?  I was just re-reading the 2005 version last night.

I also just ran across "DB World War 1 (Middle East)" or DBWW1ME published by the folks at Keep It Simple Rules (KISR), who also published DBN.

Very different scale than ITLSU where unit is a company of multiple stands.  In DBWW1ME a unit is a battalion of one stand!

We use Setting the East Ablaze

These have served well for large skirmish games set in Palestine and Mesopotamia

I concur with The Beast.  Though I am biased.....

There is a WW1 version of Chain of Command in the Lardies pipeline, although ITLSU works fine as it is.
