May I extend my gratitutude to the generosity of Aircav & Orctrader who made this entry possible.

I really like the first entry. Five great miniatures that work well together. Although simple, the backdrop also works perfectly. I really like that army green. What did you use for the bases? It looks similar to what you used on the rocks on your "Under Venusian Skies" entry and I really like the bizarre, almost Lovecraftian effect.

I like the second entry but I really wouldn't have added the yellow shot. It's a bit weird between the others IMO and I'm not a fan of white auras around miniatures. The painting is cool but I'm not a fan of the sculpts. Don't know a lot about dinosaurs but the ones with the literal eggheads look real silly with their funny heads. The basing and small diorama is a nice touch by the way.

My vote: Entry 1 :)

Well, the BEF fought the Germans to a standstill in 1914, and a few random reptiles are obviously far less of a challenge! Ouch!

The dinos are HLBS' sculpts, since dropped by them but possibly picked up by Copplestone. The big brown ones really did have that much of an egghead look - check some of the skulls & reconstructions in the Wikipedia article. The sculpts might be exaggerated, but not by much.

The three small dinos are, of course, velociraptors. Everyone's favourite evil clever little sods! When they invite you to lunch, refuse.

The Autumn 14 set is a very nice. The shading, tones, set up is very appealing. The Dinosaurs are nice as well, but would benefit from more shading and hi-lighting, as well as a dull coat applied so they aren't so shiny (Just my opinion). I do think that the large base with the smaller figure and their bases is a brilliant idea. Thank you both for sharing your work.

Poor Lizards ! they can't do nothing against the pride of the British Empire : Pure English stiff upper lip majors and their trusty batemen - almost perfect but a bit static though (but who am I to criticize ? ;) )
