WW1 Eastern Front Game

Please see below pictures from a recent WW1 Bolt Action game set on the Eastern Front circa the Kerensky Offensive of 1917

The Germans were briefed to occupy the town in readiness for a Russian attack.



So the Germans started their advance forward.



Due to faulty intelligence the village was already occupied by the Russians surprising the Germans and causing considerable casualties





Eventually however, despite desperate last minute efforts to bring up artillery support, due to being outnumbered the heroic Russians were worn down and eventually had to retreat.
