No problem Bugsda, :D Hats off to you! nice job!  :-* I want to build a "tramp Steamer and do a crew like this soon! I have a busy schedule and never really thought I was going to make a real dent in the competition…lol. I had some other entries painted and ready to photograph but time and a nearly unworkable camera made me just let these guys ride hoping I would not come up against yet another of the “top” dogs! But here I am so I’m glad I did not waste a new team for another neck and neck run like last week. I’m having a hard time selecting figures for this competition as I like to paint for the period I’m gaming in and not so much just for here. Most of the stuff I do is more historical and subdued and the figures are not always that top notch in the casting/sculpting department. I’m trying to finish a large group of Horsemen for next week and after I picked them and started painting I realized they were probably a poor choice for the competition but they are what I am interested in at the moment and the contest has got me painting them so that’s good!

Vonkluge:  Pulp always hits it off here, but after that, historical (especially Colonial) is good.  I'm sure your next entry will do well, as, indeed, has this one and your previous entries.

My feeling is that it's best to submit whatever you're interested in painting, as the interest shows in the quality of the paintjob.  So don't apologize for entering what you want to enter.  I think my first entry in Season 2 was the group of five iEureka teddy bears I'd been unable to resist buying for their whimsical unlikeliness, and had started painting in the hope that my kids would find them enchanting.  I always enjoy finding quirky surprises like that among the entries.  I can't wait to see your horsemen.

The Gladiators are very nicely shaded, the dried blood effect looks great.

The tatoo is very nicely done, the shaing is great...

Oh Man...another tough decision.
Victory is guaranteed to the last man standing, but always remember those whom you stepped on to get there!!

Anybody still looking for the guy with the sawn off shot gun. Another thread about ninja's posted a link to this site.
While looking through I found this. Looks the same?
