Ecnono boxes (photos)
« on: 21 May 2009, 08:30:30 PM »
Some people had asked about the sizes of the old encono boxes and the new ones, these are a few comparison photos I took. The first are the original boxes they were bigger and had pre made openings in the foam (I had liked that)
The next set I had gotten was the same size but the foam was precut but you could adjust the size to fit your figures(still nice and good for larger figures).
The last are the new boxes I had gotten from the Warstore  They still have the adjustable foam but are smaller in size as you can see(still they are nice for storing your figures) and the Warstore is great to deal with.

I hope this helps.

Well done on the pics, Bandit. I'm a big fan of this case, which I use primarily for storage and organization of my minis collection at home. Being cardboard, I'm not so sure about using it for a lot of transportation duties out in the big, wet, dirty world. I think it offers great value for money. I can afford to buy several for simple storage in a way that I couldn't do for, say a Chessex hard plastic box or something similar.

I have a review on my blog, though it's from the very beginning of my reviewing career and the photos especially are a bit crap. Still, I think the writing does a good job of enumerating the pros and cons.

Those are a good idea, and good value too.
