28mm Dwarven ironclad
« on: 08 August 2018, 08:07:52 PM »
Hey all,
I have a new mini....it's a Dwarf ironclad...I figure works well with Warhammer Fantasy....
I made it using cardboard, foam core, buttons for the side emblems.....charms for the ship's wheel, and turret embellishment, puff paint for rivets, sewing snaps for the hatch handles and Remington .223 shell casings for the cannons.
The turret spins, and the stack is removable for transport.

Let me know what ya think of her...
Cheers,
Carl

To the admin....
Have I placed this dwarf ironclad in the wrong place?....or is there just not much interest in the genre? ??? :'(
Thoughtfully,
Carl

P.S....If this inquiry is wrong, or in the wrong place....please delete it...and let me know the proper channels.
Thanx...

That’s a cracking wee build! 8) Do you have a game in mind for it? Is there a dwarf army to go along with it?

Thanks Andym, and no army yet.........maybe one day when I decide to break out my magnifying glass ans tiny paint brushes.

I am not a gamer, so no game to lend it to....I generally just build and sell my miniatures for a little extra side money.
It'a a hobby that has perks!.....I get a bit of cash, and make new friends.
Cheers,
Carl

A perfect little ship. It would also fit in perfectly with Flagship Games Pirates! (now owned by Scale Creep Miniatures).

Does its captain prefer his porridge served hot or cold?
