Just had a look at your blog and it's a great start. There's plenty of potential there for all sorts of VSF goodness 

The artwork for Helga is very "interesting"  and I hope you can get a mini to match it. That Elizabethan "Blackadder" style costume matched with the 20thC cap is bizarre yet very effective.

As for the worms, why not paint them in the sort of sickly, yucky pale flesh colour of real worms? It should look suitably off-putting and give them more of a sense of "reality" than some outlandish colour.
