It's still missing a tail wheel, isn't it? ;)

(or if you are like me you went straight to painting and to hell with the WIP pics).

A nice model, though, from what can be seen. Looking much forward to this, those small prop observers are growing on me more and more.

Ooo!  You utter bastard!  I thought I'd got away with it!   lol

Yes, I was planning to just leave it as a skid and use 'clever' camera-angles to hide the fact...  ;)

Maybe just add a bit of round sprue with slightly sanded edges. At that scale, it won't be that noticeable, I guess.

I'm still hoping Airfix will re-issue their O-2A at some point. I'd so want one of those for my not-Rhodesians.

Or I could just be a lazy bugger...  :D ;)

Ah yes, I love the O-2.  A chap had an ex-USAF O-2 where I used to fly (generally known to all as the Cessna 'Pushmepullyou'), though I never managed to wangle a flight in it.  I was surprised to discover that it was still very common in second-line USAF and US ANG forward air control squadrons throughout the 1980s (even though the OV-10 Bronco and then the OA-10 Thunderbolt had taken on the FAC role), so I might have to get one for my 1980s Yanks.  Armaments in Miniature do a beautiful model in 1/100th.
