This would be my first foray into 15mm miniatures.

Would the Core + Relinquary at 389 miniatures for $129 plus shipping be a good way to kick things off?

I'm more excited about playing games like Dragon Rampant than Joan of Arc itself.

For those who collect 15mm units, is this an economical way to get started?

For those of you looking at Joan of Arc it might be worth considering the other Time of Legends game on Kickstarter as well.

I simply love the miniatures that they have produced for this game, however I am not interested in the game at all.  I love big fantasy battles.  Hopefully they will release the miniatures seperately, I would probably buy hundreds lol

It's a great value.... I would say if you could stretch and get the Teutonic box for another $70 I would grab that too... It's a LOT of great units of different types... I plan on using these for dragon rampant games as well... you can have a LARGE battle on a 3x3 space with 15mm... the siege and village sets are great too for more terrain...

Thanks!  It really seems like a good way to get a whole bucket of cohesive forces in one go.  I was definitely considering the teutonic box as well.. perhaps i'll see how the stretch goals pan out.  Very exciting stuff.

Stretch goals are really adding up and still 11 days to go... 147 minis now in the Teutonic expansion... not bad at all.
