Announcing the creation of the 5518th Sandtrooper Strike Battalion.
This elite unit has been sent to Tatooine, following the escape of a band of rebels from Mos Eisley, who are believed to have carried top secret plans of the Death Star. These plans were the key to permitting the rebels to find a weakness in the Death Star's design, ultimately leading to its destruction, and nearly resulting in the death of our Imperious Leader, Lord Vader.
Vader has now ordered additional forces to Tatooine, in order to flush out, hunt down, and eliminate any further rebel supporters on the planet.
The 5518th Sandtrooper Strike Battalion, among others, has been sent to spearhead this effort.
I was hoping to add in a badge I created too, for the unit, from an on-line image, but alas, it didn't work. Need to get a decent Photo editing software package, I guess, soon. You can see an image of it in the attached PDF.
Pretty basic, but it'll do for now, until I can create a better one.
The 5518th will be based in Dos Eisley, and will begin conducting operations immediately.
