Horse drawn artillery?
« on: 19 February 2020, 04:56:00 PM »
Any ideas on a manufacturer who makes 28mm German towed artillery?
Ideally I’d like a full set, and not a huge artillery piece. A 75mm or 105mm is more than enough.

Thanks

Good question!  I've seen horse drawn limbers for WWII in 15mm and 20mm but not in 28mm.  In 28mm, the closest i've seen has been for WWI (Foundry and GWM), and then only for British RA.  (Alternatively, Foundry has a Prussian limber for the Franco-Prussian war.  Maybe with a head swap and a wargamer's squint...)

Can highly recommend OTP, a local (for Oz) company that was set up just over 18 months ago, very approachable and highly professional for a home based business.

Just been over there, yes the generic 4 horse limber may be good enough for what I need.
It’s just a bit of decoration really.

Thanks

When you're painting the gee-gees, don't forget the War Department arrowhead brand - apparently, when the British Army mechanised, a lot of our horses were sold to the Germans.
No plan survives first contact with the dice.
