Quarantine project madness!
« on: 05 June 2020, 01:20:18 AM »
All,
I have been driving myself crazy with ideas for new gaming projects spinning around in my head.  I’ve already got figures and rules for five different games.  Watched two Conan movies this afternoon, and I’m perusing the Reaper catalog!
      Anyone else experiencing this?

Yep! I have been working through my lead mountain but with no rhyme or reason, have started about 4 different projects and not nearly finished any of them. Now I have some Perry Danish Napoleonics coming and a couple of packs of Iron Duke Indian Mutiny packs coming for two new projects, also looking at starting FIW as well!! I know your pain! :)

Yep! I have been working through my lead mountain but with no rhyme or reason…

That… and I recently come across unexpected “hobby money” that I partly spent on second hands models and figures. I’m currently working on 15mm Sci-Fi, 28mm FIW, 6mm Ancient for painting commissions, but, also have 28mm HYW, 28mm Pirates, 28mm OGAM, 28mm Napoleonic, 15mm Napoleonic, 20mm WWII German and allies, 28mm Republican Roman… and 28mm Pulp on the painting table at the moment… and all over the place in the apartment, really ;D
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

Not working has allowed me to paint a bit more than usual and catch up on my reading but I am still gaming online.  I tended to rotate through my ongoing projects when painting anyway. I picked up a few books but no new miniature purchases or projects the last few months.  Of course I still have a few 2019 KS (or older) that will arrive later this year so a new project is not totally out of the realm of possibility.   lol
